Last year, Fire Rescue Emergency Services received 27 drowning related calls.

This year, they have already received 21 drowning related incidents and the summer has just begun.

We want to share some Water & Pool Safety Tips to keep you cool and safe all summer long.

Pool Safety - Be Alert and Watch:

•Always watch children and never leave them unattended

•Keep children away from pool drains, pipes and other openings

•Have a charged phone close by at all times

•If a child is missing, check the pool first

•Consider having Lifeguards hired to staff community pools and private pool parties.
